Ksawery Frodyma had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Alf Kullgren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Leonard Terasek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Björn Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ryszard Kostka fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Sójcze's protests and gave Ryszard Kostka a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes FC Sójcze got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Kostka. Jan Plech kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. SSC Ambrosini's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Zdzislaw Wawro scored to the left of an out of position Björn Ekegren, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Ersman in the 36th minute of play forced FC Sójcze's goalkeeper Ksawery Frodyma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukasz Hajto charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukasz Hajto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes FC Sójcze got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Hajto. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zdzislaw Wawro to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ryszard Kostka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Valdemar Åberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Ksawery Frodyma however easily saved by the left post. Olof Ersman kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes FC Sójcze got a freekick which was hit by Boruc Kisiel. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when FC Sójcze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Plech didn't get a good kick on the ball. SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, FC Sójcze's Zdzislaw Wawro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Ekegren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th match minute, SSC Ambrosini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Ersman to maneuver through the defense. In the 94thth minute of the game Leonard Terasek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SSC Ambrosini's Björn Ekegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
