A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Edmund Holmgren hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Mihkel Urm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Kleen was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Torsten Berglund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Tavo Potisepp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihkel Urm in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Kleen saved Mean Machine from getting behind. Casper Kleen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andris Nõmmeots, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Tavo Potisepp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rune Anselius. After 33 minutes Kogimyae JK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mattias Willig who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mean Machine's Jonathan Sandström to fire away a dangerous shot which Tavo Potisepp despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Torsten Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, Kogimyae JK's Mihkel Urm made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Kleen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rune Anselius was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Anselius in the 51st minute of play forced Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Tavo Potisepp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Eessaar kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Torsten Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mean Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Torsten Berglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tavo Potisepp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Arne Wallin in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tavo Potisepp saved Kogimyae JK from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Kogimyae JK's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Berglund came free, but Tavo Potisepp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torsten Berglund hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Mean Machine's Gösta Kämpe was substituted for Rune Åhman. The supporters of Kogimyae JK booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Berglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andris Nõmmeots could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Casper Kleen made a huge save. After 63 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Sandström. Mean Machine's Casper Kleen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Mean Machine from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Rune Anselius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tavo Potisepp. Kogimyae JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rune Anselius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Mean Machine's Jan Ekenberg in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 83rd minute, Torsten Berglund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mean Machine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Kogimyae JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mean Machine the free kick. When Rune Anselius came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Mean Machine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Anselius couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vambola Vanaliin during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kogimyae JK's Vambola Vanaliin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Mean Machine's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
