Björn Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Titulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Purje in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Liviu Răuţă got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Karl-Michael Ekrot kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Basarab Achimescu got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Sebastian Purje shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Ersman came free, but Horaţiu Nițoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basarab Achimescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Ekegren didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in SSC Ambrosini's zone, Iulian Taşcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Ekegren came out of the goal and Iulian Taşcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björn Ekegren had great luck who in the 46thth minute grab hold of the ball when Sebastian Purje from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iulian Taşcu got free with Björn Ekegren in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar Åberg made a kick off. Björn Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Purje, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Björn Ekegren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Purje in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Ekegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horaţiu Nițoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Bergqvist in the 65th minute of play. SSC Ambrosini's Björn Ekegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Purje in the 66th minute of play. Björn Ekegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Răuţă, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Liviu Răuţă got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iulian Taşcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Iulian Taşcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Björn Ekegren was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, Sebastian Purje had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Björn Ekegren. SSC Ambrosini's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Purje was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Björn Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Purje in the 83rd minute of play.
