The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sundens BK's Wilhelm Säv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Sundens BK from getting a goal against them. When Per-Erik Dahlberg fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KD Stiger's protests and gave Per-Erik Dahlberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KD Stiger's Per-Erik Dahlberg got a free kick in the 4th minute. Wilhelm Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Bållström in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sundens BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benjamin Snabb was slow to take the kick. During this time KD Stiger's players had a chance to rest. 14 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goalkeeper Wilhelm Säv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Tolsson. 16 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Strömberg came free, but Wilhelm Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KD Stiger were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Sundens BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjamin Snabb took the corner. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when KD Stiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Bållström didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to KD Stiger getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jarl Bållström hit a great ball. Wilhelm Säv made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Jarl Bållström sent off a good shot on target. Niklas Skålberg kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Benjamin Snabb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KD Stiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Snabb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was a well-played corner which Hubert Ahlrot managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jarl Bållström's late challenge caught a Sundens BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarl Bållström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Bållström to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Börje Askestät got a free kick in the 41st minute. Wilhelm Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Tolsson in the 42nd minute of the match. Wilhelm Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Tolsson in the 42nd minute of play. Jack Tolsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Säv having to interfere.

Wilhelm Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Strömberg in the 53rd minute of the match. Wilhelm Säv came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by KD Stiger's Pål Strömberg. But to his dismay, Pål Strömberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 65th minute, Per Kjellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KD Stiger's Josef Mårtensson was substituted for Benjamin Skytte. In the 67th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Kjellberg to maneuver through the defense. If Jarl Bållström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Jernberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustaf Rudberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Olof Jernberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 77th minute. Wilhelm Säv came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by KD Stiger's Jack Tolsson. But to his dismay, Jack Tolsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Wilhelm Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Mårtensson in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Jon Lundqvist got a free kick in the 87th minute. Benjamin Snabb struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Wilhelm Säv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KD Stiger. In the 91st minute Jack Tolsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Säv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Tolsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Wilhelm Säv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sundens BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
