In the 9th minute Conny Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Strandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Giöck kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goalkeeper Wilhelm Säv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalle Barck. When Agne Engman fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nytäppet Fc's protests and gave Agne Engman a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Nytäppet Fc got a freekick which was hit by Agne Engman. After 22 minutes of play, Sundens BK's Sven-Olof Jernberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dick Strandberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvar Söderman hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Wilhelm Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agne Engman in the 40th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Wilhelm Klemensson. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Olle Ahlfors got a free kick in the 44th minute. Dick Strandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Jernberg in the 47th minute of the match.

Dick Strandberg made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Alvar Söderman sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when Nytäppet Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Barck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nytäppet Fc's Boris Hermansson was substituted for Frank Wahlnäs. After a rather tough play, Nytäppet Fc's Kalle Barck got a free kick in the 61st minute. Dick Strandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Olov Alebäck hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Giöck in the 76th minute of play forced Sundens BK's goalkeeper Wilhelm Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Conny Mårtensson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dick Strandberg, 0-4. Jon Lundqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Sundens BK's Tommy Asserlindh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Agne Engman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Dick Strandberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sundens BK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
