The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Ekrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Ekegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Jeuring, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The Decathlon Dudes fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Decathlon Dudes's Marcel Jeuring looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hans Bergqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Forssell in the 35th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Alf Kullgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bart Verbruggen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Björn Ekegren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcel Jeuring's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Wesley van Rhijn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Jeuring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes, Marcel Jeuring made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SSC Ambrosini's Björn Ekegren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Michael Broers's late challenge caught a SSC Ambrosini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jochem Oosterbaan charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jochem Oosterbaan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jochem Oosterbaan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Alex Deinse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Ekegren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Jeuring in the 90th minute. Decathlon Dudes played a much better game than SSC Ambrosini and deserved their victory. The SSC Ambrosini players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
