Aleksander Smefeldt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Hernström got free with Wilhelm Säv in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Sten Hernström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilhelm Säv. That made the score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Asserlindh came free, but Aleksander Smefeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
