The tension between the Mean Machine and the Sundens BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sundens BK's Wilhelm Säv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Alebäck in the 20th minute of play. Tommy Asserlindh in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casper Kleen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wilhelm Klemensson charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilhelm Klemensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute Torsten Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Säv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Alebäck in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilhelm Säv prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilhelm Säv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Berglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match Mean Machine got a corner. Sundens BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mattias Willig ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mean Machine's Mattias Willig to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilhelm Säv despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Rune Åhman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Conny Mårtensson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mean Machine's Casper Kleen didn't even have to move. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Sundens BK's Wilhelm Säv got control of the ball when Henry Alebäck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Ekenbergs short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Wilhelm Säv to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Henry Alebäck succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 55th playminute. Mean Machine made a substitution. Robin Hultstrand replaced Stig-Arne Wallin. When Henry Alebäck came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Mean Machine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Alebäck couldn't finish the play. Wilhelm Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Hultstrand in the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Börje Askestät. In the 68th minute of the match Mattias Willig sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilhelm Säv skillfully saved the ball. Robin Hultstrand hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Kämpe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mean Machine's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundens BK the free kick. Rune Anselius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Wilhelm Säv skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rune Anselius had several of the Sundens BK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Wilhelm Säv as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Hultstrand in the 93rd minute of play forced Sundens BK's goalkeeper Wilhelm Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Alebäck in the 96th minute of play. The Sundens BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mean Machine were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
