Torsten Berglund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Gustaf Rudberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Mean Machine's Henry Alebäck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustaf Rudberg. Gustaf Rudberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Mean Machine's zone, Jack Tolsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Kleen came out of the goal and Jack Tolsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Torsten Berglund notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of KD Stiger's Gustaf Rudberg. Gustaf Rudberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute, Per Kjellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Kleen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Alebäck was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goalkeeper Casper Kleen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Tolsson. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Rune Åhman got a free kick in the 59th minute. Mean Machine's Gösta Kämpe was substituted for Rune Åhman. After 60 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Rune Åhman. In the 61st minute of the match Benjamin Snabb shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Kleen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, KD Stiger's Per Kjellberg got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Mattias Willig shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustaf Rudberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roger Månsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Casper Kleen made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Tolsson got free with Casper Kleen in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Alebäck in the 72nd minute of play forced KD Stiger's goalkeeper Gustaf Rudberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaf Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Alebäck in the 75th minute of the match. Casper Kleen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Strömberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goalkeeper Casper Kleen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Tolsson. In the 80th minute, Mattias Willig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute KD Stiger were awarded a corner. Jan Ekenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Rudberg having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KD Stiger's zone, Rune Anselius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Rudberg came out of the goal and Rune Anselius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mean Machine's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
