Hans Bergqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Björn Ekegren made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Stig-Arne Wallin sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Rune Åhman got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Berglund in the 23rd minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Björn Ekegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Alebäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Mean Machine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
