A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Folke Bergqvist hit a great ball. If Andreas Giöck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Agne Engman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lars Frykberg hit a great ball. Björn Björk's late challenge caught a Mean Machine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Björk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Björn Björk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dick Strandberg made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Jan Ekenberg sent off a good shot on target. After 21 played minutes Nytäppet Fc got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Blanck. With his leg Dick Strandberg managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Mean Machine's Henry Alebäck fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Henry Alebäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nytäppet Fc's Dick Strandberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Nytäppet Fc from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Henry Alebäck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dick Strandberg, 1-0. Dick Strandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Alebäck in the 38th minute of play. After 44 minutes of play Nytäppet Fc's Björn Björk was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Nytäppet Fc's Björn Björk got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kalle Barck to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Torsten Berglund notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Nytäppet Fc's Dick Strandberg. Dick Strandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute Henry Alebäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Strandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per Anundsson charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per Anundsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mean Machine's Jonathan Sandström was substituted for Rune Åhman. Mean Machine's Rune Anselius was substituted for Torsten Berglund. Nytäppet Fc made a substitution. Boris Hermansson replaced Frank Wahlnäs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Alebäck in the 61st minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Dick Strandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalle Barck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Kleen having to interfere. Dick Strandberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rune Anselius went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 89 minutes of play, Mean Machine's Henry Alebäck made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dick Strandberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rune Anselius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dick Strandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Rune Anselius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dick Strandberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mean Machine's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
