Bloodthirsty FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torsten Berglund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Bloodthirsty FC's Aleksander Smefeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Alebäck in the 17th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Törnqvist. The supporters of Bloodthirsty FC booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Berglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes, Edmund Holmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mean Machine and the Bloodthirsty FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute Sven-Ove Kämpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Smefeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustav Carlsson's late challenge caught a Mean Machine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henry Alebäck to strike the kick off in the second half. Mean Machine made a substitution. Jonathan Sandström replaced Rune Åhman. 62 minutes into the match, Rune Anselius notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bloodthirsty FC's Aleksander Smefeldt. Aleksander Smefeldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Jonathan Sandström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mean Machine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Aleksander Smefeldt came out of the goal and Jan Ekenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aleksander Smefeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Hultstrand in the 95th minute of the match.
