Sundens BK's Wilhelm Säv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Sundens BK from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Kalju Onkel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Tommy Asserlindh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tavo Potisepp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 14 in the game by Mihkel Urm from a close distance when the talented Wilhelm Säv managed to make a qualified save. Sundens BK's players were relieved. Mihkel Urms short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Wilhelm Säv to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 23rd minute, Sven-Olof Jernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihkel Urm in the 24th minute of play forced Sundens BK's goalkeeper Wilhelm Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sundens BK's Wilhelm Säv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihkel Urm in the 26th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mihkel Urm came free, but Wilhelm Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Klemensson in the 34th minute of play forced Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Tavo Potisepp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Conny Mårtensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Sundens BK's Wilhelm Säv got control of the ball when Andris Nõmmeots tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tavo Potisepp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Asserlindh went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Wilhelm Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihkel Urm, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conny Mårtensson to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Lundqvist to maneuver through the defense. Kalju Onkel kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Wilhelm Klemensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilhelm Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andris Nõmmeots in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Andris Nõmmeots ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilhelm Säv was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Andris Nõmmeots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Wilhelm Säv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Sven-Olof Jernberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Olof Jernberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Söderman. Wilhelm Säv came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kogimyae JK's Mihkel Urm. But to his dismay, Mihkel Urm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 87th minute, Vambola Vanaliin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kogimyae JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. With a little luck, Kogimyae JK's Tavo Potisepp got control of the ball when Tommy Asserlindh tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute, Kalju Onkel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sundens BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
