SSC Ambrosini's Björn Ekegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Giöck in the 8th minute of play. If Kalle Barck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdemar Åberg got free with Dick Strandberg in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, SSC Ambrosini's Dick Strandberg threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olof Ersman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
