FC Chorchoj's Zheng Jian Yi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Gustavo Anatibia in the 10th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heiko Som showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vic Angelsø, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. FC Chorchoj's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino Policarpio in the 13th minute. The corner led to FC Chorchoj's Alois Selinger getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 15 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Heersprink came free, but Zheng Jian Yi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vic Angelsø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heiko Som was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Carlos Gustavo Anatibia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heiko Som took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vic Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes, Dyllen Reijnders mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Chorchoj and the De Ontembare Leeuwen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zheng Jian Yi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Gustavo Anatibia in the 37th minute of the match. Vic Angelsø took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heiko Som. Heiko Som dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Frankowski in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heiko Som made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vic Angelsø in the 44th minute of play. FC Chorchoj's Edmondo Coco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ernest Kleinman, made in the 46th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vic Angelsø was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, De Ontembare Leeuwen's goal looked a bit too open when Vic Angelsø came free, but Heiko Som reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Heiko Som, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Frankowski in the 54th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heiko Som came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Chorchoj's Emilio Vedillo. But to his dismay, Emilio Vedillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 70 played minutes De Ontembare Leeuwen got a freekick which was hit by Steve Schrage. Vic Angelsø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Heiko Som made a huge save. A collision led to De Ontembare Leeuwen getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Stefan Popken hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Vic Angelsø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Chorchoj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vic Angelsø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Heiko Som had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vic Angelsø. FC Chorchoj's Zheng Jian Yi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Gustavo Anatibia in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Heiko Som, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heiko Som was a little too slow when Emilio Vedillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-3. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Ontembare Leeuwen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lino Policarpio was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Chorchoj's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Chorchoj's corner Lino Policarpio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Heiko Som quite easily take care of the ball. FC Chorchoj's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
