To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the game, Norman Mabalane recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcus Jonasson. Norman Mabalane showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Rafael Zaldua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Marcus Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Marcus Jonasson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Zaldua to make the kick off. Rafael Zaldua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Jonasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Felice Juliano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Marcus Jonasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Avesta's Tommy Berg got a free kick in the 56th minute. Marcus Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Zaldua in the 57th minute of the match. After 62 minutes of play, G A I S's Rafael Zaldua made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Jonasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Avesta's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Mabalane came free, but Marcus Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Norman Mabalane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avesta's Marcus Jonasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. G A I S made a substitution. Arne Stensson replaced Felice Juliano. Alvin Samuelsson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Rafael Zaldua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Stensson in the 74th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Avesta defense, Herman Biörkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Jonasson. The Avesta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Jonasson should have stopped the shot. Rafael Zaldua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Johan Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arne Stensson in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Jonasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Mabalane, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
