FC Steaua Pildesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Chorchoj the free kick. After 9 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Barbu. A hard shot 11 in the game by Vic Angelsø from a close distance when the talented Marian Văduvescu managed to make a qualified save. FC Steaua Pildesti's players were relieved. Zheng Jian Yi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Stere, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's Emilio Vedillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Văduvescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vic Angelsø got free with Marian Văduvescu in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Vic Angelsø came free, but Marian Văduvescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, FC Chorchoj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Vedillo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Chorchoj booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Antohi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, FC Steaua Pildesti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emilio Vedillo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, FC Chorchoj's Martin Ledvina got a free kick in the 34th minute. Edmondo Coco kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Dunajski in the 37th minute of play forced FC Chorchoj's goalkeeper Zheng Jian Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Steaua Pildesti from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Dunajski came free, but Zheng Jian Yi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vic Angelsø to make the kick off. Lautaro-Gabriel Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Chorchoj getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Costin Corbea hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Lucian Stere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Jian Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Chorchoj's Zheng Jian Yi got control of the ball when Filip Paulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Angelsø in the 74th minute of play. When Emilio Vedillo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Chorchoj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Vedillo couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Vic Angelsø came free, but Marian Văduvescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Lucian Stere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zheng Jian Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Chorchoj's Emilio Vedillo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Terry Doyle. FC Chorchoj's Vic Angelsø got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 2-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Vic Angelsø elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Vic Angelsø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marian Văduvescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the FC Chorchoj players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
