Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) If Rafael Zaldua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avesta's Marcus Jonasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Mabalane in the 8th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Avesta got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Hedbom. 14 minutes into the match, Avesta's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Marinho came free, but Marcus Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Marinho in the 16th minute of play forced Avesta's goalkeeper Marcus Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Jonasson came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by G A I S's Rafael Zaldua. But to his dismay, Rafael Zaldua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Staffan Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Hedbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Bern in the 24th minute of play forced Avesta's goalkeeper Marcus Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Avesta got a freekick which was hit by Johan Sundling. Marcus Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Zaldua, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Marcus Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman Mabalane in the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Rafael Zaldua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G A I S fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timmy Hedbom to make the kick off. Timmy Hedbom hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Marcus Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Zaldua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Jonasson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when G A I S's Matthias Bern shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Tommy Berg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Marcus Jonasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthias Bern in the 64th minute. Matthias Bern could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Marcus Jonasson made a huge save. After 65 played minutes Avesta got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Beckman. Cléber Marinho didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 70th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Cléber Marinho ran dejectedly back to his position. 72 minutes into the match, Avesta's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Mabalane came free, but Marcus Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johan Sundling in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Staffan Eckegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of G A I S booed when Avesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viggo Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. G A I S made a substitution. Zavior Moiselo replaced Herman Biörkman. Viggo Carlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Rafael Zaldua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Jonasson was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 84th minute Sonny Beckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in G A I S's zone, Tommy Berg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Staffan Eckegren came out of the goal and Tommy Berg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes, Sonny Beckman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avesta and the G A I S players grew even worse after the yellow card.
