Nic Nedal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Hooks in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, František Balog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 14 minutes, Adam Lukáš mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adam Lukáš hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by František Balog in the 17th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Máté Galambos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Jim Hooks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nic Nedal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 20 minutes, Jan Krejsa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jan Krejsa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Roman Lukavský got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jarvis Cormier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nic Nedal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Vít to maneuver through the defense.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim Hooks in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nic Nedal saved Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Karpinski in the 53rd minute of play forced Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's goalkeeper Nic Nedal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Vít was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Vít. Nic Nedal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wayne Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. František Krejčí fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máté Galambos having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Jan Krejsa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Krejsa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If František Krejčí had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Jan Krejsa got a free kick in the 74th minute. Cyryl Karpinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nic Nedal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Deon Morton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by František Krejčí in the 83rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Máté Galambos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Máté Galambos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from František Krejčí in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's František Balog got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, František Krejčí managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's supporters rose to their feet, but František Krejčí was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máté Galambos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
