In the 2nd minute Valter Festas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Galambos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 柯国风 in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Gmoch came free, but Máté Galambos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Secco in the 14th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Máté Galambos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafal Gmoch took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Máté Galambos. Máté Galambos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Valter Festas managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Legion Częstochowa's supporters rose to their feet, but Valter Festas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máté Galambos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boca Juniors's Máté Galambos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan Pietrowiak in the 23rd minute of play. Virgilio Molina's late challenge caught a MKS Legion Częstochowa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
