A collision led to Yeşilköyspor getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. İdris Oskay hit a great ball. In the 7th minute Virgilio Molina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç İley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Máté Galambos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aysan Burçhan in the 8th minute of the match. Arkın Semavi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Yeşilköyspor's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Karpinski came free, but Kılıç İley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Máté Galambos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aysan Burçhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aysan Burçhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máté Galambos having to interfere. After the first half Boca Juniors were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 60th minute, Aysan Burçhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yeşilköyspor's Kılıç İley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Yeşilköyspor from getting a goal against them. Kılıç İley was a little too slow when Collin Rowley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-4. After some careless play in the Yeşilköyspor defense, Jarvis Cormier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kılıç İley. The Yeşilköyspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kılıç İley should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Boca Juniors's Cyryl Karpinski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kılıç İley. Kılıç İley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 95 minutes into the game, Kasım Nurtekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yeşilköyspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. A collision led to Yeşilköyspor getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Kasım Nurtekin hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Virgilio Molina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kılıç İley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Boca Juniors played a much better game than Yeşilköyspor and deserved their victory. The Yeşilköyspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
