Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Amelie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Brodin came free, but Adolfo Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes, Pär Sandström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polar Ice Caps and the Amelie FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Pär Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Santos Checa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt Holmberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Polar Ice Caps's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Igon came free, but Bengt Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Fernado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adolfo Fernado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Eckegren in the 20th minute of play. Bengt Holmberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Galtero went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Amelie FC's Adolfo Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Amelie FC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Silvano Orlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt Holmberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After having played for 31 minutes, Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polar Ice Caps's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Polar Ice Caps's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Checa came free, but Bengt Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Amelie FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Pero. Bengt Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Txema in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Markus Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Luisito Txema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adolfo Fernado. That made the score 2-4 after 46 minutes of play. The Polar Ice Caps players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Amelie FC were winning 2-4.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Checa to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Eckegren in the 52nd minute of play forced Amelie FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polar Ice Caps's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amelie FC the free kick. Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Santos Checa took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Bengt Holmberg to make any attempt to save it. In the 60th match minute, Amelie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Orlo to maneuver through the defense. Amelie FC's Adolfo Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Eckegren in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Ingemar Eckegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Polar Ice Caps defense, Silvano Orlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt Holmberg. The Polar Ice Caps fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt Holmberg should have stopped the shot. When Georg Borre came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Polar Ice Caps fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Borre couldn't finish the play. Ingemar Eckegren hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Polar Ice Caps were furious when Ernst Tingelholm was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 78 played minutes Polar Ice Caps got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Tingelholm. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Checa got free with Bengt Holmberg in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Polar Ice Caps's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Santos Checa scored to the left of an out of position Bengt Holmberg, making the score, 2-7. Ingemar Eckegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingemar Eckegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Adolfo Fernado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Galtero, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ingemar Eckegren kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Jeremias Cugat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bengt Holmberg. Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Amelie FC booed when Polar Ice Caps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amelie FC played a much better game than Polar Ice Caps and deserved their victory. The Polar Ice Caps players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
