The supporters of Los Podridos ll booed when A & B United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Romano in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes A & B United FC got a freekick which was hit by Åke Benet. 27 minutes into the match, A & B United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Acevedo came free, but Sven Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Feliberto Romano sped through A & B United FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sven Svensson. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliberto Romano made a kick off. A & B United FC's Sven Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Acevedo in the 51st minute of play. The Los Podridos ll fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Los Podridos ll's Feliberto Romano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Podridos ll reached it. In the 81st minute, Göran Bäckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven Svensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliberto Romano went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, Los Podridos ll's Feliberto Romano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Svensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0.
