Alexandre Van Kamps short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Kuno Raudsepp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kuno Raudsepp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Van Kamp went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When FC Minerva Tallinn's Andro Leesi in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Royal Antwerp FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Minerva Tallinn's Kaarel Reikop got a free kick in the 18th minute. Kuno Raudsepp didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. FC Minerva Tallinn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Alexandre Van Kamp scored to the left of an out of position Kuno Raudsepp, making the score, 3-0. Andro Leesi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andro Leesi took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Weggers. William Weggers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 31 played minutes Royal Antwerp FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Van Kamp. Ward Reiniers hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. FC Minerva Tallinn's Paavo Kaiklem got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute of the match, Ward Reiniers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kuno Raudsepp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 38th minute, Royal Antwerp FC's Alexandre Van Kamp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. The supporters of FC Minerva Tallinn booed when Royal Antwerp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Nilis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Van Kamp was the one to do the kick off. Kuno Raudsepp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ward Reiniers in the 60th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Elmar Ansip mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Minerva Tallinn and the Royal Antwerp FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Minerva Tallinn getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Eimar Mäetaguse hit a great ball. Guy Wolfs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kuno Raudsepp. FC Minerva Tallinn's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Minerva Tallinn's Georg Härmi got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Ward Reiniers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kuno Raudsepp was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Van Kamp in the 87th minute of play forced FC Minerva Tallinn's goalkeeper Kuno Raudsepp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paavo Kaiklem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 91st minute of the match Elmar Ansip completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elmar Ansip a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Elmar Ansip hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Royal Antwerp FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Minerva Tallinn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
