The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Lundström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd minute, Michael Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 4th minute of the match Michael Lundström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Michael Lundström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 5th match minute, Polar Ice Caps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Lundström to maneuver through the defense. Georg Borre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Edwin Billvall made a huge save. Ingemar Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Grelsson in the 11th minute of play. Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Haglund in the 12th minute of play. Ingemar Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Roland Haglund came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Oskars Glada Gäng fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Haglund couldn't finish the play. Peder Ahlkvist hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ingemar Eckegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Grelsson in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes Georg Borre got an excellent opportunity and fired away a shot on goal, but Edwin Billvall was perfectly placed and executed a great save. Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Haglund in the 27th minute of play. Valter Söderberg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Jakob Grelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingemar Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Haglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 36th minute, Peder Ahlkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes, Georg Borre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polar Ice Caps and the Oskars Glada Gäng players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Polar Ice Caps getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Georg Borre hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Axel Bållström in the 39th minute of play forced Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Ingemar Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingemar Eckegren came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Oskars Glada Gäng's Valter Söderberg. But to his dismay, Valter Söderberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Georg Borre made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Polar Ice Caps getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Wolf-Jürgen von Buol-Schaudenstein hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Jakob Grelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingemar Eckegren was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Oskars Glada Gäng's Roland Haglund got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Jakob Grelsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ingemar Eckegren. That made the score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. Oskars Glada Gäng's Edwin Billvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Ahlkvist in the 77th minute of play. Polar Ice Caps's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pär Sandström in the 78th minute. A nice corner shot did that Pär Sandström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edwin Billvall quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Roland Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Polar Ice Caps's Ingemar Eckegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Polar Ice Caps from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd match minute, Polar Ice Caps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Tingelholm to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Karl-Axel Bållström could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Ingemar Eckegren however easily saved by the left post. 85 minutes into the game, Roland Haglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ingemar Eckegren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valter Söderberg hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Oskars Glada Gäng's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
