Amelie FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Igon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 minutes, Jan-Olof Lindgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A & B United FC and the Amelie FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Amelie FC booed when A & B United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 minutes of play, Amelie FC's Jimeno Igon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Svensson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the game, Amelie FC's Santos Checa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven Svensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Bengt Rudkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Fernado having to make a save. A & B United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven Svensson made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Santos Checa sent off a good shot on target. Santos Checas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Sven Svensson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 91 minutes into the game, Isaias Pero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amelie FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A & B United FC the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonny Göransson during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Amelie FC booed when A & B United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Jeremias Cugat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amelie FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Cugat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Amelie FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Amelie FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
