The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 9th minute, Feliberto Romano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Podridos ll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gervasio Pelagius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sven Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Danilo Acevedo made a precise shot to the right of Sven Svensson. A & B United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 20th minute Hilario Aguilera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to A & B United FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jan-Olof Lindgren hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliberto Romano in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Svensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven Svensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliberto Romano went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, A & B United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Romano came free, but Sven Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, A & B United FC's Tor Flinck got a free kick in the 38th minute. Sven Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Acevedo in the 44th minute of play. A & B United FC's Sven Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Romano in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Los Podridos ll were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Olof Lindgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Mannuel got free with Sven Svensson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliberto Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Podridos ll's Narciso Tximitx was substituted for Fabian Herauso. Sven Svensson made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Danilo Acevedo sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Narciso Tximitx took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Sven Svensson to make any attempt to save it. Los Podridos ll made a substitution. Amancio Roldanillo replaced David Mannuel. In the 73rd minute, Los Podridos ll's Feliberto Romano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven Svensson. Sven Svensson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Los Podridos ll's Hilario Aguilera got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Acevedo in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, A & B United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Romano came free, but Sven Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Sven Svensson managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Los Podridos ll's Feliberto Romano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 96th minute, Feliberto Romano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Svensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Los Podridos ll left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A & B United FC.
