When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Tomasz Motowski took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Claudinho Taffarel to make any attempt to save it. Gliwicka Torcida's Claudinho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Frankowski in the 28th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Bator to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Turok in the 78th minute of play forced AA Bełchatów's goalkeeper Leonard Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pawel Turok could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Leonard Rosen made a huge save. AA Bełchatów's Leonard Rosen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save AA Bełchatów from getting a goal against them.
