The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafal Huratiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaap van der Schans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Jaap van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Zurawski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Japke Sturm kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 10 minutes, Valio Tammisto made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. KP Chemik Police's Edmund Dylla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Westenenk's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Marchlewicz came free, but Jaap van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafal Huratiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jaap van der Schans made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wieslaw Posadzki in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Dylla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 minutes, Wieslaw Posadzki made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. KP Chemik Police's Edmund Dylla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the game, Westenenk's Valio Tammisto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Dylla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Eddy van den Eede notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of KP Chemik Police's Edmund Dylla. Edmund Dylla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmund Dylla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy van den Eede in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Benedykt Zurawski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafal Huratiak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jaap van der Schans firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans got control of the ball when Rafal Huratiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaap van der Schans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Dula in the 45th minute. Jaap van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Marchlewicz in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Westenenk were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rafal Huratiak made the kick off in the second half. Edmund Dylla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy van den Eede, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Marchlewicz in the 58th minute of play forced Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valio Tammisto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Westenenk's Valio Tammisto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmund Dylla. That made the score 1-6 after 66 minutes of play. KP Chemik Police's Edmund Dylla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save KP Chemik Police from getting a goal against them. Wieslaw Posadzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Dylla having to interfere. Edmund Dylla made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Wieslaw Posadzki sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the game, Valio Tammisto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Edmund Dylla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Westenenk booed when KP Chemik Police was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Ptaszek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Westenenk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Westenenk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
