The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Ahlquist got free with Best Castray in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Nana FC booed when ARGIES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre-Antoine Naudon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Robert Ahlquist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Best Castray was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ARGIES's Best Castray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ARGIES from getting a goal against them. When Esteban Gentza fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARGIES's protests and gave Esteban Gentza a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ARGIES's Esteban Gentza got a free kick in the 35th minute. André Luiz Queirós made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Robert Ahlquist however managed to control.
