Elmo Lodev started the match with the kick off. If Valio Tammisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valio Tammisto in the 2nd minute of play. Hardo Kaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jaap van der Schans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Volli Vilo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Westenenk's Jan Rein Karremans got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hardo Kaar in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaap van der Schans saved Westenenk from getting behind. After taking down the ball on Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's corner Andris Lehtmäe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jaap van der Schans quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Andris Lehtmäe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaap van der Schans was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Jaap van der Schans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardo Kaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Westenenk's Valio Tammisto got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans got control of the ball when Elmo Lodev tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Westenenk's Valio Tammisto in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Westenenk getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Japke Sturm hit a great ball. Hardo Kaar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jaap van der Schans made a huge save. After 40 played minutes Westenenk got a freekick which was hit by Japke Sturm. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes Gerd Viru shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Jaap van der Schans when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. The supporters of Aidu Metskonna Pöörased booed when Westenenk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaap van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardo Kaar in the 47th minute of play. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Westenenk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gerd Viru was slow to take the kick. During this time Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's players had a chance to rest. Gerd Viru made a great header on Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's corner, it was just that Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans managed to reach the ball for a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Valio Tammisto made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmo Lodev in the 54th minute of play forced Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hardo Kaar might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaap van der Schans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hardo Kaar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute Hardo Kaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmo Lodev in the 60th minute of play forced Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Hardo Kaar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Wieslaw Posadzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Aidu Metskonna Pöörased defense, Valio Tammisto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dušan Kinder. The Aidu Metskonna Pöörased fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dušan Kinder should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Westenenk's Gervasio Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 77th minute. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardo Kaar in the 80th minute of play. Dušan Kinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valio Tammisto in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's goalkeeper Dušan Kinder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Posadzki. In the 84th minute Elmo Lodev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dušan Kinder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valio Tammisto in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardo Kaar in the 89th minute of play forced Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Hardo Kaar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaap van der Schans was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 94th minute Hardo Kaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Hardo Kaar in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
