Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robert Ahlquist started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Benedykt Zurawski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Robert Ahlquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KP Chemik Police's Roger Federer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Celso Amaral sped through KP Chemik Police's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger Federer. If Celso Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, KP Chemik Police's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Ahlquist came free, but Roger Federer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Ahlquist took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Federer. Roger Federer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Carolo Pirro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Zurawski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Edward Nowakowski's late challenge caught a Nana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Nowakowski helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes KP Chemik Police got a freekick which was hit by Edward Nowakowski. After a defensive mix-up in KP Chemik Police's zone, Celso Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Federer came out of the goal and Celso Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Frank Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KP Chemik Police's Roger Federer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roger Federer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Ahlquist in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to KP Chemik Police getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bernard Bobrowski hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, KP Chemik Police's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Ahlquist came free, but Roger Federer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafal Huratiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Carolo Pirro made a huge save. Carolo Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Zurawski in the 35th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Nana FC got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Pena. Carolo Pirro made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Napoleon Marchlewicz sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as KP Chemik Police's Napoleon Marchlewicz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carolo Pirro. That made the score 1-2 after 47 minutes of play. After the first half Nana FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafal Huratiak to strike the kick off in the second half. Roger Federer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Pena in the 55th minute of play. Benedykt Zurawski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Doriva Paraense fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nana FC's protests and gave Doriva Paraense a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KP Chemik Police booed when Nana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doriva Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to KP Chemik Police getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rafal Huratiak hit a great ball. Carolo Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Huratiak in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Napoleon Marchlewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KP Chemik Police fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Nana FC's Chico Proença was substituted for Geovani Pena. Nana FC's Carolo Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Marchlewicz in the 76th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Nana FC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Ahlquist. 80 minutes into the match, Nana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Huratiak came free, but Carolo Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Roger Federer managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Nana FC's Celso Amaral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 84th minute Benedykt Zurawski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, KP Chemik Police was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedykt Zurawski to maneuver through the defense. When Celso Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Nana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Amaral couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Nana FC got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Di Massimo. Carolo Pirro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Huratiak in the 90th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Nana FC defense, Rafal Huratiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carolo Pirro. The Nana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carolo Pirro should have stopped the shot. Nana FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
