Caroll Mårtensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milosz Gacki's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Buksvinens IF's zone, Teofil Kuszczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caroll Mårtensson came out of the goal and Teofil Kuszczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Milosz Gacki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kwaski Sandomierz's supporters rose to their feet, but Milosz Gacki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caroll Mårtensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caroll Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Gacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Edgar Sandwall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teobald Jerzyk came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Sandwall slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 40th minute. Teobald Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Drewitz got free with Teobald Jerzyk in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Sandwall to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Buksvinens IF's goalkeeper Caroll Mårtensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofil Kuszczak.
