Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marc Wayne took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Wayne in the 4th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 12th minute, Rickard Örtendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hong Jian Lang, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marc Wayne took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Wayne in the 22nd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Stig-Arne Melberg put in a rough tackle. 24 minutes into the game, one of Syrianska FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Syrianska FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingemar Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 34 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingemar Åberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ingemar Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Marc Wayne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Syrianska FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Malcolm Vennerlund took the corner. Syrianska FC's Ingemar Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
