Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 8th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Transito Berroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Transito Berroa might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Transito Berroa ran back to his position shaking his head. Moises Fernandino scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Babicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Leguizamo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Babicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gartzea Traveso, made in the 28th minute of the game. Basilio Urtado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Basilio Urtado slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. Ricardo Zorita stood somewhat misplaced when Basilio Urtado came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 37 minute. When Abram Luque fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Abram Luque a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Transito Berroa in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moises Fernandino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Stefan Babicki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Larra Ameztoy hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Jotares's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Stefan Babicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Babicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 68th minute of play. Marco Tamayo's late challenge caught a Jotares's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Tamayo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the game Zuriko Toralino made a throw-in which Basilio Urtado played forward. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Urtado in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Yepes to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Nerio Baamonde came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Diaz Grandoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
