The referee ignored vobuzcomics's protests and gave Yağız İldemir a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of vobuzcomics:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after vobuzcomics's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After 17 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karol Ratulowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when vobuzcomics's Koray Omay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. vobuzcomics's Koray Omay got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karol Ratulowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Karol Ratulowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Koray Omay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, vobuzcomics's Olcay Özdilmaç got a free kick in the 46th minute. Karol Ratulowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olcay Özdilmaç to strike the kick off in the second half. Karol Ratulowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 52nd minute of play. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Balamir Eroğlu in the 61 minute of the game. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olcay Özdilmaç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, vobuzcomics's Olcay Özdilmaç made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the match, vobuzcomics's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Karol Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Patricio Costa made a precise shot to the right of Karol Ratulowski. vobuzcomics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 76 minutes into the game, vobuzcomics's Koray Omay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 86th minute Gökçek Timurkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. vobuzcomics were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Koray Omay took the corner. Koray Omay made a great header on vobuzcomics's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. If Gökçek Timurkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Karol Ratulowski in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to vobuzcomics getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz Dante hit a great ball.
