Jonathan Alphonse charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Alphonse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Orozcos booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Alphonse didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Paulo Dybala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 23 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Lo Celso came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Seide came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Orozcos's Giovanni Lo Celso. But to his dismay, Giovanni Lo Celso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Hopkins in the 35th minute of the match. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pars Kuray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Seide was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Anthony Hopkins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anthony Hopkins really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Paulo Dybala came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Noel Seide could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Hopkins in the 46th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albino Gonza kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pars Kuray was the one to do the kick off. Anthony Hopkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
