Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Doctor Quinn made the kick off which started today's match. 9 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Michal Jarosiewicz came free, but Jânio de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jânio de Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michal Jarosiewicz's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doctor Quinn in the 12th minute of play forced KS Bukowe's goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Marian Mondrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, KS Bukowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobiasz Moryl to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay got in the 16th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Jerzy Dudek and thus it was 1-0. Walmyr Lopes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes, KS Bukowe's Stanislao Kuparinen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jânio de Barros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KS Bukowe reached it. Jânio de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Lapadula, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, Ballybunion Celtic F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay to maneuver through the defense. Jânio de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Jarosiewicz in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, KS Bukowe's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay came free, but Jerzy Dudek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Marian Mondrowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jânio de Barros. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Mondrowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Marian Mondrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Bukowe's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Mondrowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jânio de Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Jânio de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Lapadula in the 38th minute of play. Jânio de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Lapadula, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Michal Jarosiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ballybunion Celtic F.C. defense, Marian Mondrowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jânio de Barros. The Ballybunion Celtic F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jânio de Barros should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Mondrowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jânio de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Mondrowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerzy Dudek came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Doctor Quinn. But to his dismay, Doctor Quinn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Walmyr Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Gianluca Lapadula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jânio de Barros made a huge save. Marian Mondrowski charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Mondrowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 69 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Jânio de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gianluca Lapadula. 70 minutes into the game, KS Bukowe's Michal Jarosiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jânio de Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. 76 minutes into the match, Michal Jarosiewicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jânio de Barros, 2-5. Jerzy Dudek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doctor Quinn in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 played minutes Ballybunion Celtic F.C. got a freekick which was hit by José-Francisco Virues. Jânio de Barros made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gianluca Lapadula sent off a good shot on target. Jânio de Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gianluca Lapadula in the 89th minute. If Gianluca Lapadula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over KS Bukowe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ballybunion Celtic F.C. throughout the match.
