Cris Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Bercea, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cris Courtois. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Donato to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Donato in the 13th minute of play forced Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Jânio de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Vianna came free, but Jânio de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, João Carlos Vianna made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Jânio de Barros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jânio de Barros came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Wambalamba FC's Robin Steckamp. But to his dismay, Robin Steckamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doctor Quinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jânio de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when Ballybunion Celtic F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bektaş Ali Şencan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Steckamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio de Barros having to interfere. Horaţiu Bercea kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jânio de Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wambalamba FC's Juarês Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robin Steckamp to make the kick off. Wambalamba FC's Juarês Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When João Carlos Vianna came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Wambalamba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Carlos Vianna couldn't finish the play. Jânio de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jânio de Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Vianna's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Wambalamba FC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brian Finnman took the corner. The corner led Wambalamba FC's Brian Finnman to fire away a dangerous shot which Jânio de Barros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Jânio de Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Robin Steckamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jânio de Barros. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robin Steckamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. In the 73rd minute João Carlos Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wambalamba FC were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brian Finnman took the corner. Wambalamba FC's Brian Finnman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jânio de Barros in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jânio de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Finnman in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Juarês Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jânio de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Vianna in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Horaţiu Bercea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Carlos Vianna succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-6. In the 93rd minute, Horaţiu Bercea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballybunion Celtic F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-6. In the 97th minute, Brian Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cris Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doctor Quinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The Ballybunion Celtic F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wambalamba FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Wambalamba FC.
