Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kartal Başar to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Kartal Başar took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Bart-Jan Van De Beeck to make any attempt to save it. If Martial Horemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Kartal Başar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Twierdza Osowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. The Twierdza Osowiec players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
