Jerzy Dudek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Carlos Vianna went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If João Carlos Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in KS Bukowe's zone, João Carlos Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Dudek came out of the goal and João Carlos Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Juarês Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juarês Donato in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerzy Dudek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to KS Bukowe getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Stanislao Kuparinen hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gianluca Lapadula in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cris Courtois saved Wambalamba FC from getting behind. KS Bukowe's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Wambalamba FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
