Guillermo Astozas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute, Titas Ainis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Dudek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Witalis Kornaszewski to strike the kick off in the second half. Gianluca Lapadulas short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Szymon Erland to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 60 minutes, Gianluca Lapadula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Bukowe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gianluca Lapadula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerzy Dudek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Kornaszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of KS Bukowe booed when MILAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyryl Podolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Witalis Kornaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
