Royal Antwerp FC's Bart-Jan Van De Beeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ethan Smart in the 8th minute of play. When Constantijn Ruelens fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal Antwerp FC's protests and gave Constantijn Ruelens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Royal Antwerp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantijn Ruelens to maneuver through the defense. Julian Zakrzewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Rits in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Olaf Kolano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Raphaël Félicité put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. Oscar Verstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ethan Smart sped through Royal Antwerp FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. Ethan Smart hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thibau Robin in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julian Zakrzewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Kujawiak Włocławek fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Kujawiak Włocławek's Ethan Smart looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thibau Robin to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Ethan Smart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royal Antwerp FC's Bart-Jan Van De Beeck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ethan Smart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bart-Jan Van De Beeck was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. With his leg Bart-Jan Van De Beeck managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Kujawiak Włocławek's Ethan Smart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ethan Smart's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. When Kujawiak Włocławek's Ethan Smart in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A well-hit corner resulted in Bert Van Cleynenbreugel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 77 minutes Royal Antwerp FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olaf Kolano who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Royal Antwerp FC's Pawel Pryputnicki got a free kick in the 79th minute. Julian Zakrzewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Rits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes of play, Royal Antwerp FC's Tom Rits made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Zakrzewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Zakrzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiaan Tkint, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Royal Antwerp FC were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Kujawiak Włocławek's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pawel Pryputnicki took the corner. The corner ended in Pawel Pryputnicki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kujawiak Włocławek's Julian Zakrzewski did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Tom Rits managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Antwerp FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Rits was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Zakrzewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kujawiak Włocławek had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
