Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Doctor Quinn got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Felix Eriksson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Jânio de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Marrero in the 5th minute of play. Roman Rollins came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay. But to his dismay, Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ernie Dixon. 17 minutes into the game, José-Francisco Virues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roman Rollins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Vitinho Diniz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Jânio de Barros. Jânio de Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Tyrone Marrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jânio de Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 30thth minute of the game Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Roman Rollins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ballybunion Celtic F.C. were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay took the corner. Jânio de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernie Dixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernie Dixon came free, but Jânio de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Kadri Uğurtay in the 36th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Roman Rollins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Seyfettin Haseki. 38 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Doctor Quinn came free, but Roman Rollins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Horaţiu Bercea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballybunion Celtic F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tyrone Marrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When José-Francisco Virues fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s protests and gave José-Francisco Virues a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s José-Francisco Virues got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Doctor Quinn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Rollins. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Rollins should have stopped the shot. If Doctor Quinn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 62 in the game by Doctor Quinn from a close distance when the talented Roman Rollins managed to make a qualified save. Boca Juniors's players were relieved. The supporters of Ballybunion Celtic F.C. booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Bullard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors's Neil Kemp was substituted for Vitinho Diniz. After 69 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Bullard. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Cyryl Karpinski replaced Tyrone Marrero. In the 80th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyfettin Haseki to maneuver through the defense. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Jânio de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Dixon in the 83rd minute of play. Roman Rollins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doctor Quinn in the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doctor Quinn got free with Roman Rollins in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Rollins made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Alfredinho Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. Jânio de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Stuart in the 96th minute of play. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
