With a little luck, Amanal AFC's Ariel Galoer got control of the ball when Isidoro Gitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ariel Galoer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Abechuco in the 39th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Atlético Zelaya got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Sal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacobo Abechuco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ariel Galoer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ladislao Gombal's late challenge caught a Amanal AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Gombal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atlético Zelaya getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ladislao Gombal hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Isidoro Gitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Zelaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Zelaya players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
