In the 4th minute of the game Dalmacio Transito made a throw-in which Luís Hernandez played forward. Paulo Rosio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okan Kongur, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Paulo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan Kongur in the 7th minute of play. Pepe Burris made in the 9th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luís Hernandez. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Remigio Handi got a free kick in the 13th minute. Corrado Pinti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Rosio having to interfere. When Corrado Pinti came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Tracto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corrado Pinti couldn't finish the play. Tracto's Isidro Gartzi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pepe Burris, made in the 29th minute of the game. Luís Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okan Kongur in the 39th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Fagildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tracto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciro Ostadar was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Hernandez was the one to do the kick off. Bernabe Fagildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Tracto booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepe Burris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Rosio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Pinti in the 70th minute of play. In the 81st minute Luís Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Dobilas hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Fred de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Ciro Ostadar in the 90th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Bernabe Fagildo's left hand side. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
