A collision led to Tracto getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Sebastian Zâncă hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İskender Baki Sabi in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Fagildo saved Tracto from getting behind. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tracto's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquin Uxio was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. Okan Kongur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Tracto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Zâncă in the 36th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Racing Club's goalie and right to Paco Murillo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Racing Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 38 minutes into the game, Sebastian Zâncă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tracto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club the free kick. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tracto! Tracto:s Bernabe Fagildo showed great skill when he stopped İskender Baki Sabi:s penalty. 39 minutes into the match, İskender Baki Sabi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Fagildo. Tracto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İskender Baki Sabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Racing Club's Joaquin Uxio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zdzislaw Dobilas, made in the 45th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Okan Kongur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corrado Pinti in the 53rd minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Olavo Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corrado Pinti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, İskender Baki Sabi made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe Fagildo. Tracto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bernabe Fagildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godofredo Remigio went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Okan Kongur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olavo Henriques. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olavo Henriques should have stopped the shot.
