In the 33rd minute Pedro Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzo Maradona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes Les Tigres's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgard Magdaleno who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Tequileros FC's Edgard Magdaleno to fire away a dangerous shot which Gonzo Maradona despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Les Tigres players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
