In the 8th minute Dé Töpper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, 武 曹操 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macedonio Fonticoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Macedonio Fonticoba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Nicasio Abad skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gökçe Yalazalp hit a great ball. Peter Blomkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Töpper in the 29th minute of play. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macedonio Fonticoba in the 32nd minute of the match. A hard shot 33 in the game by Macedonio Fonticoba from a close distance when the talented Nicasio Abad managed to make a qualified save. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s players were relieved. Benjamin Wood hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Enekoitz in the 39th minute of play forced Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Juan Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macedonio Fonticoba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicasio Abad having to make a save. Vampiros Aztecas's Thomas Verheydt was substituted for Macedonio Fonticoba. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cai Wei Xi made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Cai Wei Xi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cai Wei Xi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Chayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vampiros Aztecas's goalkeeper Juan Chayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kosmas Banasopoulos in the 65th minute. A nice corner shot did that Samuel Nava got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Chayo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 66th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Gomesano to maneuver through the defense. Dé Töpper's late challenge caught a Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dé Töpper helped the player get up and apologised. Dé Töpper kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Juan Chayo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Cai Wei Xi. But to his dismay, Cai Wei Xi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Thomas Verheydt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Abad was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. William Lebigot replaced Joel Enekoitz. With a little luck, Vampiros Aztecas's Juan Chayo got control of the ball when Kosmas Banasopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Chayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cai Wei Xi in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Cai Wei Xi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Chayo, 1-3. After 97 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Leif Jonasson.
