An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 4th minute of play forced Tequileros FC's goalkeeper Ayhan Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Guimarães came free, but Ayhan Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ayhan Vuralhan. Ayhan Vuralhan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Lécuyer in the 15th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tequileros FC's zone, Mehat Kovaçi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayhan Vuralhan came out of the goal and Mehat Kovaçi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pedro Raitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ayhan Vuralhan managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mehat Kovaçi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ayhan Vuralhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Tequileros FC's Ayhan Vuralhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Tequileros FC from getting a goal against them. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Raitin in the 32nd minute of play. Karel Šnajdr hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Angel Osoro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tequileros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 41stth minute of the game Edgard Lécuyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehat Kovaçi got free with Ayhan Vuralhan in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Leonel Solo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Lécuyer in the 46th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Magdaleno hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehat Kovaçi to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Mehat Kovaçi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cougars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehat Kovaçi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayhan Vuralhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnoud de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Raitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayhan Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes Tequileros FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angel Morales who took care of the corner kick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steffen Gimlinge ran back to his position shaking his head. Ayhan Vuralhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Steffen Gimlinge took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ayhan Vuralhan. Ayhan Vuralhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Tequileros FC made a substitution. Ildefonso Lorien replaced Blas Esiquio. Cougars FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tequileros FC for a fine match.
